The Empowergy project - implemented with funds received under the grant of the European Union's Consumer Programme (2020-2025) - was set up with the objective of stimulating and simplifying the procedure for consumers to report and write complaints to energy suppliers, and to improve the management of these procedures by CIE, allowing them to optimise the procedural time (receipt of the complaint, analysis, writing and verification, sending the complaint to the supplier or contacting the consumer to provide useful information).

To do this, we have created CIE's Integrated Information System (SII), in Italian and English, which at the operational level allows us to improve the effectiveness, in terms of time and resources, of our interventions (complaints), and more easily obtain useful data for collective, national and European actions. At the information level, the IIS allows us to reach more consumers and easily disseminate information to increase their knowledge and consequently improve their consumption, energy efficiency and reduce waste.
